Answer: The doorway pull up bar hangs from the door trim, but when weight is applied to it redirects the downward force laterally into the wall, making it remarkably sturdy. The weight is not all supported by the door trim. It is not drilled to the wall.

Question: Hi there, the moulding of my doorway is only about 1.5 cm thick, do you think it will fit?

Question: How wide can the door frame moulding be and it still fit - its says moulding 3.5inches wide, but what does this mean from one side to another? My door frame appears to be twice as wide and another model I bought nearly fits it, yours looks larger (I already bought one for my dad) can you clarify where the reference
Answer: I believe you are referring to the depth of your door frame. The 3.5 inches is the max width of the trim.

Answer: No. We recommend a wall mounted pull up bar. Or you can do revers push ups from the dip bar.
